[English]

This study aims to identify the key dimensions and indicators of employee digital competence in the energy sector, particularly in the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries, and to determine their relative importance and interrelationships. Based on a systematic review of the literature, five main dimensions and nineteen indicators of digital competence were identified. The Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process was applied to assign weights to the indicators, while the fuzzy DEMATEL method was used to analyze the causal relationships among the dimensions. Data were collected from twelve experts with professional experience in the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries, and fuzzy logic was employed to address uncertainty and linguistic judgments. The findings reveal that information and data literacy, along with technical skills, are the most critical and influential dimensions, acting as driving factors that affect other competencies. In contrast, digital communication, cybersecurity, and problem-solving are more dependent on foundational competencies. The final structural model indicates that strengthening basic digital skills can significantly enhance the performance of dependent competency dimensions, providing a valuable framework for designing targeted training, recruitment, and workforce development initiatives aimed at improving organizational digital maturity.
